These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between Wildflip Safaris Ltd (hereafter referred to as “Wildflip,” “we,” or “us”) and the person or entity booking a safari tour (hereafter referred to as “client” or “you”). By confirming a booking with us, you agree to the following terms:
1. Booking & Confirmation
A safari booking is considered confirmed once a deposit payment has been received and acknowledged in writing by Wildflip Safaris.
Bookings should be made as early as possible to secure accommodation, guides, and vehicle availability.
2. Payment Terms
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking confirmation.
The balance (remaining 50%) must be paid at least 30 days prior to the safari start date.
If the booking is made within 30 days of the safari start date, full payment is required immediately.
3. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made in writing and will be effective upon receipt by Wildflip Safaris.
Cancellation fees are as follows:
60+ days before safari: 15% of total cost
30–59 days: 30% of total cost
15–29 days: 50% of total cost
0–14 days: 100% (no refund)
We recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unforeseen cancellations.
4. Amendments by the Client
Any requested changes to an itinerary after booking may incur additional charges based on availability and supplier terms.
Wildflip will try to accommodate changes but cannot guarantee them.
5. Changes or Cancellations by Wildflip Safaris
Wildflip reserves the right to make changes to itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, road closures, park regulations, or safety concerns.
In rare cases where we must cancel a tour, we will offer an alternative of equal value or a full refund.
6. Travel Insurance
All clients are strongly advised to purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers:
Medical emergencies
Trip cancellations
Lost baggage
Personal liability
Evacuation services
7. Health & Safety
It is the client's responsibility to ensure they are in good health and physically fit for the safari activities booked.
Clients with any medical conditions must inform Wildflip prior to travel.
Vaccinations (e.g., Yellow Fever) and medications (e.g., Malaria prophylaxis) may be required — please consult your doctor.
8. Travel Documents
Clients must carry valid passports, required visas, and any permits for travel within Tanzania.
Wildflip is not responsible for issues related to documentation or visa denial.
9. Wildlife & Park Regulations
While we do our best to provide exceptional wildlife viewing, sightings are not guaranteed, as animals are in their natural habitat.
Clients are expected to follow park rules and instructions from guides at all times for safety and conservation.
10. Liability Disclaimer
Wildflip Safaris, its employees, or agents shall not be liable for any illness, injury, death, damage, loss, delay, or failure to perform resulting from acts of God, war, terrorism, pandemic, civil unrest, strikes, government regulations, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
11. Client Conduct
We reserve the right to remove any guest from a safari with no refund if their behavior is deemed disruptive, dangerous, or offensive to staff, wildlife, or other guests.
12. Photography
Wildflip reserves the right to use photographs or videos taken during safaris for promotional purposes unless a client specifically requests otherwise in writing.
